Afternoon adventures provides your child with safe and reliable care beyond regular school hours.  It can be the perfect way to expand their understanding of subjects and themes encountered during school.  The program is designed to foster curiosity and confidence while reinforcing the importance of classroom structure.  Your child will be encouraged to explore, ask questions and express themselves in any number of ways.  Table manners and self-care skills are consistently stressed and the changing mix of attendees allows your child to meet PASA children from other age groups and classrooms.  Afternoon adventures is a chance for your child to discover new things, build new friendships, and develop their individuality. 

There are twelve spots available daily and sign-up is taken on a first come, first served basis.  Once a day is “full”, the sign up sheet will be removed to the office where a waiting list will be compiled if necessary.  Sign-up sheets are posted for two week periods and posted every other Monday and Tuesday at 8:45.  Sign-ups for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are posted on Mondays.  Sign-ups for Tuesdays and Thursdays are posted on Tuesdays.

            The cost is seven dollars per hour and this includes all supplies.
