Extended Care at PASA
PASA’s extended care and enrichment programs provide families a safe, nurturing and creative extension of the school day and allow parents peace of mind without having to transition their children to different activities. These programs allow young children to build social skills, explore new interests, and deepen their love of learning.
Beyond simple childcare, extended day options like the Breakfast Club and Lunch Bunch, paired with hands-on afterschool arts and movement activities, provide distinct developmental advantages for your child’s social emotional growth and creative expression.
Our Breakfast Club starts at 8:00 AM, and our Lunch Bunch runs until 3:00 PM. Experienced, caring PASA teachers supervise activities that help children explore, learn, and have fun.

All Extended Care programs are available for sign-up here on our website. Please see the links below. Note that these extended programs often fill quickly, so we recommend paying close attention to posting dates for each session to ensure you are able to claim a spot.
In order to claim a spot, every student who attends Extended Care or a Summer Session must create a scheduling account in Acuity. PASA will not schedule, cancel, change, or confirm appointments. By setting up an Acuity account, you can manage all your appointments directly. Please note that if your child is sick on the day of a Drop-In Care appointment, you must cancel it. If you do not cancel an appointment due to an absence, you may be charged.

We may not be able to accommodate Drop-In reservations made at least one day in advance to ensure compliance with staff-to-child ratios mandated by the State of Maryland.
Extended care ends at 3:00 PM. Parents/guardians who fail to pick up their child(ren) by 3:00 PM will be subject to a late fee of $15.00 for the first 15 minutes and $1.00 for each additional minute. Late fees will be charged to the student’s Brightwheel account.
Families are billed in arrears for all Drop-In Care.
Breakfast Club (8:00 AM - 8:45 AM) - $15.00 per day
Drop-In Lunch Bunch (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM) - $15.00 per hour
Extended Care Programs

Breakfast Club is offered before school from 8:00 - 8:45 AM. Children are welcome to bring a nut-free snack to Breakfast Club. We offer two Breakfast Club options, please see below.
1) Block Care - Breakfast Club -This is semester based sign up, so you select predetermined days of the week for your child to attend for the entirety of the semester. You are guaranteed a reserved spot for the days you select.
2) Drop-In Care - Breakfast Club- This is daily sign up, so you register as you need care throughout the month. Space is offered on a first come, first served basis.

Lunch Bunch provides your child with safe and reliable care beyond regular school hours until 3:00 PM. Children must bring a nut-free lunch to Lunch Bunch. We offer two Lunch Bunch options, please see below.

A curriculum-based program, Enrichment is offered once a week for several weeks during each semester. We will cover a different topic each week, all while staying within the particular theme. Children will have a great time extending their day in this program. We are happy to welcome children from PASA’s 3s & 4s classes.
