PASA’S Inclement Weather Policy

• PASA will always defer to AACPS when making decisions about closures. If AACPS is still operating virtually at the time where inclement weather can pose a threat, we will collaborate with local private schools to make our decision.

• If AACPS are opening one hour late, PASA will open one hour late and close at the normal time.

• If AACPS are opening two hours late, PASA will follow a modified schedule and PASA will open from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. There is no Breakfast Club. Lunch Bunch and Full Day 3s and 4s will operate until their scheduled dismissal time at or before 3:00 PM. A nut-free lunch will need to be sent in for all children, as they will eat with their classmates.

• Morning carpool operations will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Afternoon carpool will begin at 1:00 PM for all students.

• If AACPS is closed, PASA will be closed.

• PASA staff will be present from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM.

• You will receive a notification in Brightwheel regarding any delays or closures.

• If AACPS calls for an early dismissal due to inclement weather, Lunch Bunch, Enrichments, and all All-day programs will be cancelled.
